So, April has appeared.

My Alpha readers have finished with Bad Company. Well received and on par with other novels the series, Bad Company requires some tweaks and the incorporation of suggestions for future story lines. The manuscript has made its electronic way to my proof reader for a clean-up and to be made presentable. Something I’m not the best at. Which means Bad Company’s parked as far as my input goes. My attention has turned to the second novel in the series, ‘Ghosts in the Fog.’ Currently pencilled in for an August release.

I had the extreme pleasure to attend Knotfest in Brisbane and indulged my love of Heavy Metal in March. Stand outs were Amon Amarth, Parkway Drive and Megadeth. Headliners Slipknot were much better than when I saw them 8 years ago. But still chaos on stage. I’ve attempted to see Megadeth many times over the years, but it has never panned out. Finally, it happened, and Dave Mustaine put on an excellent set. With the final song, Holy Wars, I closed the chapter on seeing the Big Four, Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth. I may be getting old. My ears weren’t ringing after the festival. I’m pretty sure I know what that means :)

I’ve started putting some deeper thought to the fifth novel in the series. I’ll look to start the draft at the end of the year.

Jeff Clark invited me on to his Podcast, Course of Action, and I recorded an interview with him a few weeks ago. When it comes out, I’ll let everyone know. Steve Leper, admin for the Military Thriller Book Group on Facebook, posed a series of questions to me for his, 10 Questions with, series on the group's page. My responses will be out this week.

Time to take leave from work and go on holiday. We are off to the US for the first time. Hawaii, California, and Nevada to get a taste for what the States has to offer us. Also, we’ll go down into Baja for a look.

I have been doing a small ghost-writing project on the side. More about that in the future.
