First for 2025

I’ve managed to hold out for nearly 18 months before launching into another blog for the website, so, I think I’m keeping my form up nicely.
The biggest announcement, as you may have seen on social media is that Big Sky Publishing have picked up the next three novels in the Damien Hunter series, to be released in March and October 2026 and novel six in March 2027. I am grateful to Big Sky for continuing the series. The three novels are written, and I’ve sent the first to Big Sky for editing. A few months of editing and five and six in the series will wing their way for editing also.
On the writing front it has been a non-existent year for anything new. I have edited my own work or that of others, and time seems to have slipped away to write for myself. This interestingly is not just confined to me; other Authors have remarked that 2025 is not a productive year for them either. Maybe we all need a rest before forging ahead again.
To wind off 2025, I’ll be editing and then ready to write fresh in 2026. I may even dust off an old tradition of commencing a novel on New Years Day.
