Again I have managed to avoid writing a blog. Quite well done as the last was in April, though I do think of it occasionally.
Since then I've refined the fourth novel in the Damien Hunter series. It just needs the tick of approval from the my last Beta Reader. I have planned the fifth. I travelled to the US, hanging out mostly in California where I created a character and theme for a new series.
The biggest announcement which anyone following me on Facebook and Instagram already knows, Ghosts in the Fog has dropped. Available online at Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo and all major online retailers. Ghosts is scheduled for release in Dymocks and QBD stores this week, 16th August 23.
As an ambassador for the Brothers and Books charity I will be undertaking the 5 in 50 reading challenge again this year. I'll be tackling:
Alex McDermott's - Ghost Target,
David Attenborough's - A Life on our Planet,
Matthew Reilly's - Cobalt Blue,
Tom Hanks' - The Making of Another Major Motion Picture Masterpiece, and
Brian Johnson's - The Lives of Brian.
If I get through those in the 50 days I may add the first Volume of the history of the Royal Australian Air Force. It's quite a thick and heavy read.
I will be giving an Author talk at the Cairns Library on the 25th August 23 and will be starting the fifth novel in the Damien Hunter series in September this year.
