Battle Born, a Damien Hunter Series novel

Last week I commenced work on a new series of novels centring around the main character Damien Hunter. The first in the series is called Battle Born and I am 25 thousand words into the 80 thousand word draft project. Each novel will be stand alone as is my normal style.

Battle Born is set in Afghanistan and establishes the character tone for the remaining novels in the series. Battle Born is a military action novel and also explores the collateral mental strain that comes with the main character's experiences.

The idea for this series has formed in my head for the last two years and I've decided to write something fresh and new. I am in debt to four good men who are my guiders and subject matter experts to ensure the series is as realistic as can be for fiction.

I am looking at an August 2021 release. So far away I know. I'll keep everyone updated as I progress along.
